ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed for the chapter 1 test, organized assignments to be handed in on Friday.
Assignment: Make corrections on your assignments, and study for the test.

Pre Algebra
In Class: Practiced integer addition and reviewed the rules of computation.
Assignment: Complete the race track worksheet.

English
Bell Work: Students reviewed punctuation and capitalization rules by playing a game.
In Class: We graded short story notes and our literary term worksheets today. We wrote the rest of our flashcards in class.
Assignment: Lit term quiz on Friday. First square of writing bingo due Sept. 4. Begin reading Independent Reading books for 1st quarter points.

The HISTORY Experience
In Class: We completed the test for chapter 4 on “Life in the Colonies”.
Assignment: We will begin studying chapter 5 tomorrow; no homework.

SCIENCE
In Class: We finished labeling the layers of the sun on a handout using the book. We color-coded the layers. Reading was done out of the book.
Assignment: Work on your sun picture. Get out and look at the stars!!
Journal: We added the quiz grade to our grade sheets. Check the back board for make up work.
